simulated afterburner lighting system is ideal for 80mm, 90mm, and 100+mm EDFs and provides a center "glow" and flame effect like a full size jet aircraft afterburner.
Unsure which motor you have? Note that for most manufacturers, the first two numbers on the motor label are the motor diameter, i.e. a 3658-1920Kv brushless inrunner motor has a 36mm diameter. A quick way to check is to take a measurement across the back of the motor.
Freewing 80mm 12-bl EDF Outrunner – Designed for the older Freewing 80mm 12-blade outrunner fan. Fits the 80mm outrunner EDFs supplied with the Freewing F-14.
Freewing 80mm 9-bl EDF Outrunner – Designed for the older Freewing 80mm 9-blade outrunner fan. Fits the 80mm outrunner EDFs supplied with the Freewing A-10.
Freewing EDF Inrunner (36mm dia) – Common size for most Freewing 80mm EDF jets (will fit over most interfaces 36mm diameter or smaller). Example airframes: FW T-33, FW Mig-29, FW L-39, FW JAS-39, etc.
E-flite/FMS/XFly EDF Inrunner (32mm dia) – Common size for most E-flite, FMS, and XFly model 80mm EDF jets (will fit over most interfaces 32mm diameter or smaller). Example airframes: E-flite F-16, FMS BAE HAwk, etc.
