www.modelaircraft.org – The Academy of Model Aeronautics; World’s largest model aviation association, representing a membership of more than 175,000 and the official national body for model aviation in the United States. If you are an RC pilot joining the AMA is important as it provides basic guidance and protections when operating our aircraft.
www.rcgroups.com – RC Groups; a good resource for RC (aircraft, cars, etc.) Most activity is related to electric power. Lots of good information, but beware the ‘armchair expert.’ You can find me there as ‘JetMang.’
www.rcuniverse.com – RC Universe; another resource for aircraft, cars, etc. This one is more oriented towards gas power. Also good information, but beware the ‘armchair expert.’ You can find me there as ‘Jet20.’
www.rcscalebuilder.com – RC Scale Builder; a great resource for scale aircraft building. It has the least activity of the three, but probably the most valuable information if you want to build scale.
